Oh boy, do we
have a treat for you! Now you are able to view friendly, healthy, lovable animals looking for
a warm home.

Every couple of weeks, we will take fresh pictures of the lovable
cats and dogs, and occasionally other animals such as ferrets and rabbits, that
are available at the Owensboro-Daviess County Humane Society.
The Humane Society is a non-profit organization joined together
to prevent cruelty to animals and extend humane education.
Through
education they plan to enlighten people; young and old, to the problems faced by
animals in our area and throughout the world. It is ignorance that breeds
cruelty and only by informing people can they eliminate abuse and neglect.
Awareness takes time to spread, yet animals suffer today.
Investigation of cases of cruelty and/or neglect help bring swift relief to
animals in need.
You can help! The Humane Society is only as strong as
the people who support them. If you have extra time, please become a volunteer.
Whether educating or investigating, they need you on their team. If you don't
have time to volunteer, you can support the Humane Society financially with
$5.00, $10.00 or $15.00 per month which will go a long way in helping to
purchase education materials and much needed food for the kittens and puppies.
